About Us
Greencraft Homes exists to make building a custom home feel clear, honest, and achievable, especially for homeowners who are excited about their dream home but don’t know where to start.
We serve families across Lowcountry encompasses this already , including homeowners looking for a trusted construction company in Lowcountry, who will provide a real plan, clear expectations, and straightforward pricing.
How We Got Started
Our story starts in the 1950s, when our father began building homes the old-fashioned way by doing quality work, keeping his word, and treating people like neighbors.
Today, Chris Reardon carries that legacy forward as a third-generation builder, leading Greencraft Homes, a family-owned company that’s been in business for 15 years and has built 80+ homes. What hasn’t changed is what matters most: building homes with integrity, and building them with people.

What Makes Us Different From Other Builders in Lowcountry
Many builders can build. The difference is how the experience feels and how protected you are along the way.
Here’s what homeowners notice when they compare Greencraft Homes to other home builders in low country:
- We design in-house so you can shape your custom home without paying upfront architect deposits.
- We’re clear and direct because we’d rather have an honest conversation now than an expensive surprise later.
- We’re fully licensed as Unlimited General Contractors in both South Carolina and Georgia, which reflects the level of responsibility we take on.
We’re family-owned, with three generations of building experience, and that legacy shows in the way we communicate and the care we put into every home.

Honesty
We don’t oversell. If a design choice pushes the budget beyond what makes sense, we tell you early before you’ve invested money or momentum.

Transparency
We provide a clear path to decision-making, so you’re not surprised later. You’ll understand what’s included, what’s optional, and what affects cost so you feel in control.

Quality Craftsmanship
We focus on building custom homes the right way, not rushing through cookie-cutter builds. We’re hands-on from planning to completion to protect the details that matter.

Personal Service
Because we’re a small, family-owned builder, you’ll get real access to the people building your home with communication that stays direct, responsive, and human.

Responsibility (Budget + Expectations)
We prioritize getting you a workable plan and realistic build number before you feel committed, so you don’t spend money only to discover your dream home isn’t financially feasible.
